About Diamond Car Wash & Deli

Diamond Carwash & Deli was established in March 2004 as Diamond Mobile Carwash. Owned by Carlton “Dee” Porter, a native of Knoxville, TN was inspired by the businessmen he met growing up in East Knoxville. Motivated by the sense of community he felt when they would show interest in the children around the neighborhood. Mr. Porter knew he wanted to be a businessman in the East Knoxville community as an adult. After noticing the lack of businesses in East Knoxville with longevity in the neighborhood, he established Diamond Mobile Carwash.

After much success with Diamond Mobile Carwash due to the support of the community, Mr. Porter wanted more of a presence in East Knoxville. Then in April 2007, the physical location Diamond Carwash at 2908 E. Magnolia Avenue opened. With the continued support of the East Knoxville community, the opportunity to add the Deli portion of Diamond Carwash & Deli came in 2010.

Diamond Carwash & Deli has continued to grow throughout the years and now has a comfortable, family friendly waiting and dining area with entertainment for everyone as well as a view of the vehicles being washed. Since mr. Porter accomplished his goal of becoming a successful business owner; he now does what he can to give back to the East Knoxville community. Mr. Porter sponsors events for Austin East Magnet High School and hires the youth in the community to give them something positive and productive to do while also earning a paycheck.

Mr. Porter loves and appreciates all of the support that he has received throughout the years and wants to continue to give back to the East Knoxville community.
